PSS has a thorough understanding of the business functions necessary to plan, formulate, create, execute, and report on the budget and business activities of the J1. These include budgetary control functions, updates to the general ledger, monitoring of budget execution while addressing abnormal accounting conditions (e.g., aged transactions, negative unliquidated obligations, abnormal accruals, outstanding travel settlements, etc.) and all activities associated with generating and managing the internal and external financial reporting requirements of the entity, including pre- and post-closing entries related to adjustments, reconciliations, consolidations and/or eliminations. Our approach and technical acumen encompass the full depth of the Planning, Programing, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) process. PSS will support program budget builds, funds distribution within the general ledger system (GFEBS), continuing resolution support, reprogramming actions, Funding Authorization Document (FAD) tracking and reversals (if necessary), and status of fund reviews by Program Element (PE), Budget Activity Group (BAG) or other categories.
